IMPORTFEST 2012 * Saturday August 25, 2012 *

ATTENTION COMPETITORS/EXHIBITORS:

Please find below a list of Move In/Move Out regulations that must be followed by all participants attending IMPORTFEST. These guidelines have been approved by the venue(s) and are mandatory. Failure to comply will automatically result in disqualification/fines.

MOVE IN:

Move In for IMPORTFEST TORONTO will be on Friday August 24 2012 between 1pm to 8pm. If you absolutely cannot make this time, please contact us immediately to make alternate arrangements as there will be absolutely NO SATURDAY MOVE-IN and NO EXCEPTIONS! Failure to move in on Friday will result in loss of space without refund.

SET UP:

When you arrive at the venue please proceed to the loading ramp and to the registration table to collect your package - VIP, BASIC, TEAM, or BIKE. Each vehicle will be tagged with a participant display badge. Please ensure this card is visible from the outside for judging purposes. You will be permitted to stay and clean your vehicle until 9:00PM.

PLACEMENT:

Remain seated in your vehicles until you have been parked in your designated space by our staff. Do not ask to be parked somewhere else or to change the position of your car, our staff must display your car according to our floor plan/venue rules -no exceptions. Teams with designated space WILL NOT be required to roll in at the same time. Only pre-registered teams of 10 plus will be assigned floor spaces – NO EXCEPTIONS.

TRANSFER FORMS:

In an effort to avoid move in delays we will no longer be accepting onsite transfers. Transfer forms must be submitted no later than three weeks prior to show day. Please contact registration@importfest.com to make arrangements.

PARKED:

All competitors must comply with the local, municipal and provincial laws and regulations in conjunction with safety, health and other matters. Vehicles must have 1/2 tank gas or less - NO EXCEPTIONS. Gas caps must be taped shut.

Once vehicles are parked, engines can not be turn on at anytime and all batteries must be disconnected. All vehicles must have drip pans or other absorbing materials underneath and pads under all tires that rest on carpet.

Applying tire shine inside the venue is not permitted (Judges will not penalize nor award points for Tire shine in the cleanliness category).

All competitors must ensure that these steps are taken to avoid any oil spills and stains. Responsible parties will be charged for cleaning costs.

MOVE OUT:

Move Out will commence immediately following the award ceremony. Every vehicle must leave the premises by 2:00m latest. Failure to move out by 2:00am will result in fees by the venue ($750 per hour). Any vehicles left behind will be tagged and towed at owner’s expense.
