EVENT STAFF

ImportFest Toronto will be held at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, encompassing over 185,000 sq/ft across the entire North Building.  We take great pride in our staff, working together to optimize the event experience for our attendees.

We are looking for highly organized candidates with excellent interpersonal skills for the position of Event Staff.  Event Staff are responsible for working under the instructions of an Event Manager, assuming the role of checking in guests, assisting with vehicle registration, helping manage entrance lines, among other duties.

Moreover, Event Staff need to constantly be on their feet and attend to the many needs of event-goers, requiring physical stamina and high energy levels.

Event Staff Responsibilities:

• Unloading equipment and setting up
• Working under the instructions of an Event Manager.
• Ensuring workstation is clean and organized.
• Adhering to event safety standards.
• Ensuring excellent levels of customer service.
• Undertaking security duties.
• Setting up various show equipment.
• Dispensing useful information to event-goers.
• Inspecting equipment for damage after use and checking it against an inventory list.
• Packing up equipment when the event is completed.

Event Staff Requirements:

EVENT JUDGE

With over 350+ active competitors, ImportFest stands out as the largest aftermarket competition series in the country. Each year, we assemble a panel of knowledgeable judges who approach the competition with fairness and integrity. Our scoring system has evolved significantly over the years, transitioning into a unique online application that leverages the latest data and industry trends to elevate the competition experience for our participants.

We are actively seeking to expand our panel of judges for ImportFest 2024.  Ideal candidates should possess extensive knowledge of the aftermarket modification industry, spanning various car makes and models. We’re specifically seeking judges with hands-on experience in crafting top-tier show vehicles or actively participating in the build process.

Affiliation with a car club or vehicle in our competition disqualifies applicants.
